NAM and REMIT
On 28 December 2011 the European regulation no. 1227/2012, Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT), came in to effect.
With respect to gas production in the Netherlands, some relevant information is published by Gasunie Transport Services (GTS).

REMIT urgent market messages
As of December 14th 2021, de NAM will report its urgent market messages (UMM) through GIE IIP: IIP - Gas Infrastructure EuropeIIP Gas Infrastructure Europe.
Consequently, UMM reporting through the de NAM REMIT portal will be discontinued. Historical UMM’s will continue to be available at remit.nam.nl.

Lichte aardbeving Noordbeemster
Op 21 juli 2026 vond een lichte aardbeving plaats nabij Noordbeemster. Het KNMI stelde de magnitude van deze beving vast op 1,7 op de schaal van Richter.

Naar aanleiding van de onlangs ondertekende Energy Road Map willen NAM en Naftogaz hun samenwerking versterken via materiaalhergebruik uit Nederlandse gaslocaties.
